Selection of Sealing and Insulation Materials for the Top of Thermal Boilers

The sealing and insulation materials for the top of a high-pressure coal powder boiler of a certain heating company are mainly constructed using the following raw materials.

1、Aluminium silicate refractory fiberboard

Aluminium silicate fire-resistant fiberboard has the following characteristics:high temperature resistance,light and soft texture,small thermal conductivity,good heat resistance,small thermal expansion,and elasticity.Internal stress problems are not considered at room temperature,and it is not easy to crack when cold and hot change violently.It is a good sealing insulation material for boilers.

Volume density,g/cm30.2~0.25 thermal conductivity(20℃),W/m·K0.42 service temperature,℃1000 fire resistance,℃1760

2、Continuous high temperature and slight swelling plastic

This is a neutral,ductile insulation refractory material.Low bulk density,soft and ductile at room temperature;High temperature environment slightly rises;High compressive and tensile strength after continuous high temperature;Non toxic and non corrosive;Non combustible,convenient for construction,no need for on-site formwork support.

Key performance parameters:

Volume density,g/cm32.1-2 fire resistance,℃1650 ductility index,compressive strength after drying at℃40-60(110±8℃),tensile strength after drying at MPa15(110±8℃),compressive strength after burning at MPa10,MPa12

3、Continuous high-temperature adhesive

It has the advantages of good continuous high-temperature adhesion,small re burning and folding,and convenient construction,making it suitable for the fusion of refractory fiber products with refractory layers and steel plates.Performance indicators:consistency,s300 service temperature,℃1100

4、Continuous high-temperature fire-resistant adhesive

It has the advantages of good adhesion,high temperature resistance,good adhesion,good thermal expansion,and basic non folding.It can be used for filling wall mortar,sealing leakage,and repairing cracks,and the actual effect is idealized.Performance indicators:fire resistance,℃1700 service temperature,℃1400
